Pi Day Memory Challenge

New year, new competition! How many digits of pi do you know off the top of your head? 5? 20? 100? Well now is the time to put your memorization skills to the test!

This year, our competition is simple: recite as many digits of pi as you can from memory in 30 seconds. The winner of the competition will be the person who recites the most digits of pi correctly. We’ve headed over to TikTok to host this competition, so that is the easiest way to enter. If you don’t have TikTok, no worries! Just submit your entry to [email protected]

The contest closes Friday, March 12, 2021. The winner will be announced on Pi Day, March 14, 2021 on our facebook livestream, following Siva Natarajan’s recitation of 10,000 digits of Pi.

Congratulations to our 3 winners!

1st place – David Nye from New Jersey recited 221 digits of pi in 30 seconds!

2nd place – Anika Dasgupta (grade 12) recited 208 digits!

3rd place –  Jem Leighton-Scholes (age 11) recited 131 digits of Pi!
